The weather system I talked about in the blog yesterday, that was over Nevada, has shifted east of the area overnight. It was an active period yesterday and last night, but should be calmer today. The passing of the weather system brings a more stable air mass, and we've dried out the air mass up between 18,000 and about 22,000 feet, so any thunderstorm development today is likely to be isolated and brief. Similar conditions tomorrow, so the weekend is looking quite good to get out and see the Tour of Utah bike race, or visit the Park Silly Market, or just about anything you have planned!
