Good morning! Well, there was a little more thunderstorm activity yesterday than I expected, but the measurable amounts were more spotty. The weather balloon data is similar this morning, so I expect a repeat of yesterday with a couple of thunderstorms developing, and again I'm not expecting heavy amounts of rain, but there will be some lightning and gusty winds. The data suggests that we should see a decrease in the storms tomorrow and Monday, but as long as the low pressure is near the West Coast, we should have a couple of storms develop in the afternoon and evenings through Monday. As the low pressure weakens early next week, we'll see the high pressure over the Rockies, shift back westward with warmer temperatures and dry weather for much of the week.
