A little cloudiness over the Great Basin this morning and while there's still a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, but this morning, you could see the rain wasn't reaching the ground and that will be the case this afternoon. We'll be warm through Wednesday with the max temperatures near 80, and then an increase in moisture by Thursday and into Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Thursday, but should decrease by later in the afternoon on Friday with the weekend looking nice!!! We'll cool off with the increase in moisture, but should be in the upper 60s to near 70 next weekend.
Good morning! We've had a couple of awesome weather days, and the air mass has definitely warmed up. There's a little more cloudiness over the Great Basin this morning, and this is due to a weak upper level weather system moving in from California. There's enough moisture and instability for a couple of thunderstorms to develop this afternoon, and while not widespread and I don't think it would last very long, there could be a thunderstorm or two in the area . I wouldn't really change any plans, as I don't think there would be much rain with these storms. Now, at the end of the week, we'll see an area of low pressure move into the West, and moisture from an ex-hurricane will spread into the area resulting in rain and thunderstorms by Thursday and into Friday. Have an awesome Sunday!
Good morning! A beautiful morning over the area, and we should have sunny days and clear at night through the weekend!! Now, the mornings will be a little chilly, and we were 35 or 36 throughout the Snyderville Basin this morning and should be a little cooler tomorrow morning, but likely in the 30s for morning low temperatures through the weekend. It'll take until the weekend for our max temperatures to get back into the 70s. Just get out and enjoy these days, and with the leaves changing, there are some awesome hikes or mountain bike trails to visit!
Good morning! Let me first start by saying how happy I am that PCMR will be open again this season. I know a number of people from the top down, and I enjoy an incredible working, and personal relationship with them. I continue to pray that a long term solution will be worked out for them, and we can continue to build this resort and area, and keep it a world class destination. Now, the air mass is drier and will be dry through the weekend. It will be cool over the next couple of days and would not be surprised to see temperatures in the low to mid 30s in the mornings from tomorrow through Saturday. We will see a warmer air mass over the weekend with the max temperatures warming back to 70 to 75 degrees by Sunday.
Good morning! A fairly significant increase in the moisture in the last 24 hours and there are some showers and thunderstorms around this morning, but we should see a little break through the remainder of the morning and early afternoon with a more significant increase in showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon, tonight and into tomorrow. We should be able to make the mid 70s for a high temperature today with some sunshine, but cooler over the next couple of days with the max temperature in the 60s. As we dry out the air mass Wednesday through Saturday, our morning low temperatures are likely to dip into the 30s again.
Good morning! There's a band of thunderstorms coming across the Salt Lake Valley as of 8:05 AM and will move across us in the next hour or so. We could see a thunderstorm or two this afternoon, but honestly, once this organized band of storms moves across the area, we should have a nice break later this morning and much of the afternoon. Any storms that develop tomorrow will be isolated, then still a potentially stronger surge of moisture on Monday and Tuesday! Have a fun Saturday!
Good morning! A weak low pressure over California has brought an increase in thunderstorms across northern Utah overnight, and we'll see more through this afternoon and again tomorrow. These will be scattered, but for sure will be around us, but we should be able to get some things done outside. A stronger surge of moisture is expected by Monday and Tuesday, aided by ex-hurricane Norbert. So, we'll definitely have to keep an eye on this situation over the next couple of days.
Good morning! After a couple of awesome days, the forecast will get more complex from this point through early next week. A weak front has moved across the area, and we should be dry and cooler today. We'll see a gradual increase in moisture through the weekend with a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoons. A bigger surge of moisture is possible by Monday and Tuesday leading to more showers and thunderstorms. It's a cool start today, but should make it into the upper 60s to near 70, then a little warmer tomorrow and Saturday, except in the mornings, when it'll still be really cool.
Good morning! Hope everyone had an awesome weekend! Another cool start this morning, but we'll warm up to around 80 degrees this afternoon and again tomorrow afternoon. We'll be a tad warmer tomorrow morning, but a weak front will push morning minimum temperatures back into the 35 to 40 range again Thursday and Friday morning! The air mass will be pretty dry through the end of the week, and while we could see a little cloudiness, overall, not too bad a weather week!
