Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well! We continue to see some weak disturbances aloft move across the area, and very hard for anyone to tell. The air mass is pretty dry and stable, and we'll actually cool a little this weekend. Overall, some nice weather with the mornings continuing cool and warming in the afternoon to mid 70s today and upper 60s to near 70 tomorrow. A couple of additional systems will move into the West this week, but these will be stronger, so a little more wind and we could see some isolated thunderstorms. If we could get an area of low pressure this strong in July or August, when the monsoon flow is in place, then it would result in some significant thunderstorms, but for now, it's looking dry. We'll see warm south winds this week with the peak temperature on Tuesday and we should make it into the low 80s. I'm on the road to visit a client this week, but I will try to update the blog a couple of times!
Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well! I've been busy babysitting my 10 week old grandson, as both my son and daughter in law are now both working! The little guy is awesome, but on these quiet weather days, I'll be spending time with him and the blog is kinda secondary! In fact, the pattern should remain quiet through at least the weekend. It may not be until the monsoon flow develops in July that we'll see anything more than just an isolated thunderstorm. There's some support for a little increase in moisture at the very end of June and beginning of July. For the next 5 days, our max temperatures should be in the low to mid 70s and min temperatures in the Snyderville Basin in the upper 30s to low 40s. Get out and do some hiking, biking, golfing or whatever you love to do outside!
Good morning! Hard to tell from the satellite image, but there's a weak area of low pressure over the Pacific Northwest and into the Great Basin. We'll see sunny skies and warm temperatures today with the max temp in the upper 70s to near 80. South winds will increase tonight and tomorrow morning, but shift to the west and pretty breezy tomorrow. Any thunderstorm development this week is looking isolated, and our temperatures should be near normal and those are 36 and 71 degrees. Have a great Monday.
Good morning! A weak front moved across the area yesterday, and can you say windy! I spent much of the day at the baseball fields watching my grandson play and it was so windy! We should have a nicer weather day today with cooler temperatures, but a little westerly breeze. A couple of additional weak systems will move across the area this week, and we'll warm up tomorrow and Tuesday, but then drop to around normal Wednesday through Friday. Just not enough moisture for anything more than an isolated thunderstorm. Enjoy your Sunday!!!
